Well this year I'm on my own, so I have requested a double shift. That way the other receptionists can be with their families and I can hang with the lovely ladies who will be working
Sounds like a plan xoTania we have to get together that day. I am hopeing to fly home but at this stage it is just hope xx
Aaaaw! Well I will make sure I'm online Christmas day so in a way you won't be on your own all dayI'm alone every year , just another day in the year that you don't get paid

Think I might give myself the gift of abstinence this Christmas.
Last christmas was the first one I've ever had on my own so I can relate to Johnlou's post. I suddenly found the combination of everyone gravitating to families and entertainment venues shutting quite daunting. Seemed only churches, casino's and brothels were open!
I flew to Adelaide and stayed in a hotel in the city and wandered around Hindley street buying coffee and sandwiches for the street people. The bag lady helped me deliver them with her trolley. I sang '60's songs with a group of vietnam vets who all seemed like they still had PTSD and met some really interesting people. Then I flew to Langtrees to see my very first w/l ever! She was such a sweetie. Not sure what I'll do this christmas. I'd like to experience a white christmas some day. Maybe we could start a white christmas thread and post pictures?
Sounds like we might have enough orphans for a party x
Now i in Perth this is my first Christmas so I don't know what I have to do but I think happy if I can join at Langtrees xXmas a Langtrees? There will be a few of us there that day to share the Xmas spirit xx
