I have nothing against hard workers who earn a good pay or those that really do struggle to make ends meet every week but I couldn`t help but wonder... is it fair??

I was looking at some car insurance for a friend and noticed that SGIO charge more if you pay per month then for a year at a time. What if I couldn`t afford to pay so much up front? Is it fair I should have to pay more?

I need to see a dentist but can`t afford their high fees, is it fair I can`t get it at a lower cost just because I choose to work and not get a benefit?

I have a friend who has children, gets a low cost housing loan because she can`t afford high repayments yet because she has a house loan is able to get another loan for a flash new modern car and is somehow able to afford that.

I need to see a lawyer about a civil matter but can`t afford it yet if I wasn`t working may qualify for legal aid.

This is just 3 examples...

It seems to be easier if your either rich or on some type of benefit..
Nobody seems to think of the low income worker.

Can anybody prove me wrong??

Yeah it makes you wanna take the blue pill sometimes doesn't it?

I believe that once upon a time all was well where people lived in peace and balance and each had a role in producing and providing his or her own needed commodity. Everyone helped each other when needed as instinct and without question. When things were well all rejoiced. When things scarce people shared naturally shared more in their concern for the collective. All was in balance. Even dealing with the anomalies (minority) that may have thieved.

Then came a new era where bureaucracy was introduced, sold, and then imposed upon humans. An entity controlled the outcomes and actions of people. Some got benefits while others were penalised. To the individual the collective spirit quickly devolved to a focus for the benefits of oneself and/or ones family. Things became fair when it was in ones favour and unfair when someone else got more or penalised less.

These days many of us are caught up in a job that may be unnecessary bureaucratic admin and not even know it. But then we are all caught up in a system to sing a simple song.

I OWE, I OWE, IT'S OFF TO WORK WE GO.......

Is it fair? Well no.......

It does seem if you are one of the few genuine bludgers who also has a big family It would be financially detrimental to get a job

Nope, its not fair, and we're collectively heading for big trouble because of it. The middle class is really the milking class ... both the rich and the poor milk them.

I have a buddy who works but has less disposable income after taxes and levies than if he were on the dole. On benefits you don't pay tax (generally) or levies and many things become cheaper ... medical/public transport/etc

The idea that many are cottoning on to is that you should aim high or low, but don't aim for the middle. If you can't reach a high income because of circumstances (whatever) then shoot for the bottom.

The third option which I am increasingly noticing around me is a revival in the cash economy. Income one receives via cash can be effectively 30-50% higher (no income tax) and will buy you 10% more (no GST). Even when one splits the difference with people (ie; cash discount) its easy to see that purchasing power or usable income generation is significantly higher ... significantly.

We're on the cusp of this becoming a _real_ problem right now. Euro governments entered this territory some time ago and didn't read the warning signs ... the answer to everything was simply higher taxes for the workers ... eventually the workers simply stop working (or more rightly, find other ways to generate a life that bypasses the onerous demands of the state).

We're being told that federal income is down on expectation right now, by a significant margin, and the answer to that appears to be higher levies and taxes across the board, for business and for workers. Not a thought is given for actually reducing spend and _growing_ the tax base.

Nothing in life is fair and square.

Insurance companies are always out to make $$ off people rich or not. They manipulate their terms, condition & policies to suit them better. So can't help you there.

Lawyers are modern day Lestat, they suck real hard, they suck more than a Harley Davidson out of you, sometimes the whole brick and tile house outta your butt if they can. lol

And remember that some people are more exclusive than others...

Here's my take on how it all works....

1% of the population have most of the money and the fun,

the middle class do pretty much all the work to keep them there,

then...the poor people are kept there by the rich people to scare the crap out of the middle class to show them what will happen to them if they stop working and ruin such a great system :)

Well the controlling entity has a lot of clever attributes. However the missing ingredients that deems them to be deserving of such a powerful position is wisdom and good intention. Worse yet, the desire to have good intention and wish for a good outcome for the collective is just a void.

Now you're talking. You can't beat the old cashie . $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah man....... whatever works for the people will soon become illegal.

Just wait till the latest and greatest gimmick is a chip in the right hand or forehead. We probably won't get a choice in having it or not. But we may be able to choose between Apple, Android, or Microsoft lol.

If you choose Apple, then there is no flexibility and no customization, straight out of the box working chip, it will work nicely but limited. Microshaft, if you choose this, you may as well give yourself a kick up the butt every minute, as you try to restart your chip every 5 mins as it crashes. I'd pick Android. lol

Oh and politicians are like cans of baked beans, people know what the side effect is, but it's not clearly labeled on the can.
