Ohhhh yes I do agree, a good firm wax and polish is needed daily, it keeps all those pests away.
I would hate for your shaft to be attacked by borers. Not a good thing really...
I agree, a good PegLeg, needs to be HARD and Firm with a daily polish, they just keep going and going for years.
