Despite his tomfoolery "The Wiz" was a seriously good footballer. He averaged 3.1 goals a game over 124 games. That is about the same average as Buddy Franklin who has obviously played a lot more games.

I saw him take a mark at the SCG literally sitting on a blokes head.

Different times now where the AFL is so regimented but a lot of the characters like Capper and Mark Jackson have been coached out of the game.

They were entertainers as well as good footballers and both have cashed in on that flamboyance over the years so good on them.
