How would you spend a million

A friend of mine has just over one million fly by points. 40,000 points get you to Sydney so what would you do with one million points. Catch is he has not got a lot of Money so although he gets free flights accommodation could be expensive.

What should he do.

How did he get a 1,000,000 points in the first place? I reckon he should go anyway preferably somewhere warm and sleep under a palm tree.

Make a business out of the million points. Check with friends family or anyone who needs anything from the catalogue buy them and sell them.
A million points on fly buys? They are harder to come by than Frequent flyer points. He better use them before they starts expiring (which is the BS part of fly buys).

Sorry Homer they are Qantas Frequent flyer points,

Col he got these points all in 18 months. The way he gets them is he pays for all work expenses and work bills on his card. The company that he works for pays the amounts into his account to repay him. He told me he expects to have 2mil by June.

lol...QFF shop has lots of items too...if only you can get a car with the points...the virgin one you can buy a ticket to space. lol...maybe your friend can fly first class to couple of destination in a year. Or sell his points for $$ cha-ching, QFF allows for point transfer.

You can get shopping cards with points. That's how I use most of mine.

Use some of the points to pay for accomodation with QFF hotel partners.

I've done this a few times now.

With 2 million points the world is there for the exploring.

Maybe we could see how the whole system works (data and cash wise) and Fly Buys points could get time @Langtrees with a lovely Lady. lol I somehow don't think the banks would like it though! lol

I think you can use your flybuys for accommodation, if he lives in Perth then no reason to travel, book a great hotel and get a nice w/l to visit every weekend, that's what I'd do.
