Thankfully Chlamydia is 100% treatable with no consequences if caught in time. I have check ups once a year, or more is a depending on the number of partners I have in a year. I had an ex with a penchant for having unprotected sex with other woman (without my knowledge) and when i found out i went and got tested and so did he. He had chlamydia and had the nerve to accuse me of cheating and giving it to him. Sex is all good until someone puts your life at risk.........

Most Sex Workers do have regular health checks.
My best tip would be to observe how she treats you when you first meet.Did she stand and greet you? Did she offer you a refreshment.Is the area she is sitting tidy and organised or littered with cups and cigarette packets.If she is organised and efficent she will be so in her own health needs as well and a lot safer risk than a girl that isn't.Hope this helps.

well i am sex worker and i can say i get health checks every month even though its not required so frequently. im always checking client to ensure THEY are clean( markings and sists) and always use protection. this is the most i can do, though it is not 100%. Majority of sex workers don't want to contract any STI's and always try their best to be clean. Most girls that have a habit of going natural or are unclean tend to not be in the business for long.

Just reread this post and would like to mention a few comments.
From my 25 years experience I would say that 99% of sex workers use condoms for penetration sex and the few that don't it is usually only with very special regulars that they have formed a emotional attachment do.
75% of girls use condoms for oral sex on the client and it is mostly private operators that don't or very experienced workes and this is because if a operator knows how to check properly their is little risk of any infections and to date their is no proof or life threatening infections 1.e aids or hepatis being contracted through oral sex or swallowing unless the person has o open gum sore fronm infection or extraction.
The way the body works is that anything swallowed is not absorbed into the blood system until our own system has pulverised and cleaned it of infections first.HIV for instance can only stay alive outside its host body for two or three minutes and by that time our own immune system has killed the bug.
This is my understanding of it and would like others opinions especially if I am not coerrect.

This is just as important for health reasons as for emotional reasons in that sex workers need to differentate work from their private lives.
