How cheap is to cheap.

Good afternoon Guys and Girls.
I have been thinking about our rates and what are your lowest rates.
I have dropped my rates as I think it's better to have a few cheap jobs then no jobs at all.
The Asians are taking all our work because they work for next to nothing.
Though most of them can't speak a word of English and are generally not what they advertise to be.
How is this fair on us girls who take pride in our work are what we say we are and can hold a conversation with our clientele.

Only you can decide what is too cheap, as it's not worth doing it if you are not at least covering your costs.

However men are not discriminating when thinking with their little head, so maybe competing on costs is going to be difficult, so compete on service levels and points of difference.
Examples of a point of difference would be; a cold beer, talk about the footy or a humorous conversation when making the booking...

As a private WL I lowered my rates a while ago to be more inline with out current economic times. Here in SA our pricing is lower in general than most other states to give you some idea of my pricing
$50 no frills short 10 min oral only
$100 half hr FS
$150 for 1 hour FS
This is not a full time job for me and I only work days. I am always busy my average jobs 4 to 5 per day some as many as 7 to 9. I normally work 12 noon till 5 pm average 3 days a week

To me I am happy to earn enough each week to cover private school fees, our grocery bill then some spending money for me any more is a bonus. Being a wl is my main source of income and my partner has been out of the workforce few years now due to work injury.

For me personally I would rather have a lower price and be busy get work each day that I plan on working than have a high price and get couple jobs per week

Only you can really decide how much is too cheap.

The balance between making it worthwhile for you and also getting enough business is really where the sweet spot is.

I feel there are too many charging $400+ per hour and then complaining about lack of clients. In this climate that's just not the sweet spot anymore.

I take your point on the cheap Asian ladies, but really you get what you pay for and for people who want quality, they aren't looking in that direction anyway.

Not an expert. Installed the app, created a profile with a photo and they seem to come to me.

There is a fine line between being too cheap (for the WL) and just being mean (the client), it may be alright for the punter but is it fair to the WL? I would prefer to pay a reasonable price and enjoy the experience rather than feel the whole thing was an inconvenience in the WLs life. Having said that there are some girls who advertise the absolute top for what they do and I am not going there either. There is no point charging too high and getting no clients meaning you get $0..... I think specails could be a really good idea to get repeat business. so see me 4 times and the 5th on you get free.

If you are close minded you will think oh no i dont want to give away free service but at the end of the day you will get more business. You will see alot of guys 4 times rather then just once.

E.g charge $200 per hour (no specials) see the guy once get $200.

Or $200 per hour (5th service free specail) see the client 4 times and get $800.

More girls need to think about their marketing.
