How can I stop visiting girls?

Hi everyone

I need help

I met a girl on locanto a few years ago and paid her for her service. From then I met her manytimes over two years. Spend thousands. Suddenly she left me without telling me. Now I can't find her at all. But from them, I'm addicted to this and I want to stop seeing girls. How can I do it? Please give me some advice. I'm addicted. And I want stop this. I'm still so young too.

This isn’t the place to catch feelings brO.. it’s all business. These ladies provide a service and can make you feel like your the only person that matters but it’s all business.. and sure you can build good relationships with the ladies and it can be genuine.. but brO don’t catch feelings.. it’l mess you up.. Don’t know how young you are.. but thats a good thing, heaps of life ahead of you and new experiences you can have. Do the practical things if you want to stop. Avoid anything that triggers you. Start a new hobby.. Join a gym, mma gym? I love mixed martial arts gyms, helped me heaps when I broke up with my mrs, can get a lot of good life skills out of those places, mental and physical strength, confidence. Set some new goals for your life. Stay occupied.

Sex is about endorphins. Perhaps join a gym, go for a run or do some other exercise when the need takes a hold. As suggested about maybe even a form of martial arts to work the body and the mind. I really hope this works for you. Please do keep us informed on what and how you do to break this cycle as you are very much not alone with this and it may help others.

Take a procedure. Get the snip. It takes a while for you to feel good within your self, by the time you are ready to climb back on the horse. Most of your lust and randyness will have gone. Just a dry blower. I am sure its a bit extreme but most of my mates have had it stay that it's okay. Not a permanent thing . It can be reversed.

Who knows it might be the answer you are looking for

As for spending thousands on. Miss Hazel.

You and I paid for her Degree.

Get over it and move on like every other punter .

Telling him to "get over it" is a bit rude and uncalled for.
He genuinely posted asking for advice and I believe he meant "good" advice.
Getting the snip isn't so simple and there can be serious issues during surgery and in the reversal procedure.

A group that may help is Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA)... you'll find them on Google.

Sex drives are inherently very powerful. There is a way through this. Best wishes

Some advice from ‘outside the box’ here if the above doesn’t work or you can’t just stop cold turkey.

Force yourself to go to some s*** punts (I’m serious) Go see some obvious Locanto ‘bait & switches’ where the girl will be 20+ years older & a completely different nationality to that advertised, barely speaking English. Stay away from the girls you know you’ll practically fall half in love with in the first meeting.

I hit a chain of these s*** punts early on in my punting career & it really does turn you off the whole thing (at least for a while in my case). Use that to help you cut down or quit entirely.
Just an idea for ya.

I know everyone is different so if that works for you great, but I gotta say that in the past that made me actaully punt more - until I could find one who scratched the right itch, so the opposite effect for me....

I mean, I always do this when I get stress or lonely. I have joined a gym recently and it decreases my habits a bit. But when I see a girl in a gym or someone in my office, it triggers me to go and get an escort. So I think I need to be strong mentally, I'm in Perth now for more than 10 years and I'm originally from a different country. Maybe I should go back to where I belong. Are there any helping groups for this loneliness? Or should I visit a psychiatric? I'm Runing my own established business and I'm scared to open about this with my friends family. Also, is that normal to see an escort? Am I a bad person?

Yeah fair enough mate. We guys are complex 🤣 so we all have different experiences, motivations, reasons for punting etc.
Whatever works best for the OP.

yeh, the snip just means its very unlikely you'll be a new dad again .. which I found to quite liberating , so def did not reduce my desire

Can't say I agree. Had mine done and definitely no reduction in appetite. I guess everyone responds differently.

Getting the snip won't help in the long run but a few weeks off will do you good. As 1 punter said. Find a good girl who wants you. Not the other way around. My own lady friend who I have been seeing for the past 14 months has just thrown me a curve ball myself. So I too am on the punt for a new lady. It happens. Bite my bottom lip and start looking again.

Mate you are not a bad person or abnormal for seeing WL's. If the truth be known there would be a fair percentage of men who saw one at some stage in their life.

I took up punting about 6 years after my marriage breakdown.

I didn't see anyone in that time but suddenly realised life was slipping away so I might as well have some fun.

I purposely didn't see the same lady twice for fear of myself forming an attachment with one that wasn't reciprocated because they are just doing a job.

I too became addicted and punted too much and like any addiction it takes control of your life and thought's.

I took it too far and it was all I thought about.

I have it under control now and everything in moderation.

I worked out that I too was driven by stress and loneliness.

The good news is that addictions can be treated and as others have said in this thread seek professional help and try and learn why you feel like you do.

No shame in punting and no shame in seeking help because it is very common.
