I love helping people! and usually get in their way doing so... :D In what ways do you help people?

I helped someone not long ago, be it a bit different help.

Does helping others make you feel good? What are same ways do help people who are in need or just something to help on that day?

When I was unemployed for six months and whilst looking for another job for 1 and half years - I still help out by buying groceries for the homeless youth around the public libraries in subi and in the city, even though I was screwed as financially. I also helped one same person twice.

Fast forward to that last year did that four or five occassions. Most recently this year had a backpacker in his mid 20s remarked back at me that not many would do that. The first time in all three years of me doing this somebody pats me on the back.

I've been a member of Oxfam with $20 monthly regular since 2010. Well, even though I pay a share of mortgage, my pay is 20K lower than the national's average ever since started in the creative industry six years ago.

Still struggling within trying to maintain that financial investment goal in mind, but NEVER do I feel too busy for not trying to help those who are in need. I don't give them money, ever but I only provide them practical goods for their own survival only.

It depends really. I'll move heaven and earth to help people out but i'm not going to waste my time or resources on people who don't bother to even try to help themselves.

I'd give a homeless man a job before i gave him money or food and i certainly wouldnt ever help a someone change a tyre if they werent at least trying to attempt to do it. Drives who cant change tyres really shit me.

If a bad person kept to him or herself in all good and bad actions, this person will live or die without making any difference. When gone, no difference would be made.

It is only when one impacts others that differences are made.

Think beyond yourselves.

I help those who show signs of trying to help themselves first, nothing is more frustrating than people who sit back and expect things to be handed to them. Those that take advantage of the people around them are going to run out of friends pretty soon and are in for a rude awakening though lol. That said if I have a friend who needs help I'll do all I can for them.

It does feel good to help others and why not if you have the ability to do so. Helping each other should be one of the basics of human society. Plus I am a big believer in "what goes around, comes around" commonly known as "karma" :)
Absolutely Rochelle. Even though I don't believe in 'karma' as such, that warm fuzzy feeling you get from helping someone else out is a reward in itself.
