Why anyone would want to try and swim with yards of fabric flapping and dangling halfway down his shins is beyond me

They are also terribly unflattering to the male figure by lengthening the body line and shortening the legs so that even a well-proportioned man ends up looking like Henri De Toulouse Lautrec.

I know..........but that's what is called modern times. Believe me everybody in boardies is not trying to swim.......they are trying to look cool.

And finally to answer Jacquie's question..........I am not a beach person in general but even less when it comes to keep me cool.
Luckily I am quite heat resistant..........the last days have been hot but not uncomfortably so.

Yes!! I totally agree! I wear above knee board shorts when I'm down the street casually but when I'm swimming I just hate them, there's so much drag in the surf and you can't swim laps at the pool in them for that reason plus being covered in all that wet fabric feels positively awful! If they were good for swimming, competition swimmers would wear them. It's not like many guys have a huge trouser snake about to leap out of their speedo's so they need to have knee length shorts!

I enjoy 3 or 4 ocean based passtimes and do a bit of beach fitness stuff so im at the beach lots. If its really hot i'll wander down and go for an afterdark dip

I cant see any place for budgie smugglers on the beach unless your a competitive ironman. I'll admit running in wet boardies is a little hard lol but everything else is fine. Even if you have a 10" cock that doesnt suffer shrinkage and a ripped body, most people are laughing at budgie smuggler wearers lol

I find quicksilver to have the best boardies that suit the beach.

My favorite place when its warm is the murray river
lots of shade and fresh water
Beaches are for fishing and 4wding
Stuff getting sandblasted and sunburnt
... besides perth beaches are very averadge compared to the beaches I frequent down south

I just take a picnic, a couple of bottles of bubbles and a couple of Kayaks and go to the river by the Maylands Yatch Club.
Shady trees, a balmy breeze off the water and then a gentle float around on cool water.
Don't gorget the aerogard!!

You start the first lap with a rudder on the return leg Shrinkage has occurred and I end up floating on my back drifting aimlessly
