Ah the joys of plastic

At a nice restaurant on Friday Enjoyed a meal of locally caught seafood After a great night settled my bill Only to go a total blank. PIN number gone No hope of remembering
This is where I thank my inherit distrust of technology and my money I had enough cash Just to to avoid washing dishes for a week
Has anyone else had such a lapse or mishap with restaurants or access to cash?

Ahoy, I am a bit Old School, if I know I am going out socially, I always like to have cash in my pocket`s, I carry a card as well, but MrCash Rules.

Nope! I never go to restaurant$. Why pay for overpriced slop when I can get it at home.

Never leave the house unless Mr Ca$h is with me. If he's a little light I go to the money machine and get some. I can still remember my PIN # which is ####.

Had a really good seafood meal for two Homie $100 is not a real big spread

For a hunj i'd expect red emporer and exmouth tiger prawns H2!!

I was overseas and lost all access to my account. No credit cards, atm cards etc. With around 30eur in cash.

Had to fly to another country 2 days later lol. Being a friendly aussie lad i never went without a meal, transport and i arrived in the next country with 7eur left lol. Then bank sorted their crap out

Sorry Mr.H2........Doctor Rochelle has to say that sounds very much like old age or approaching old age. Sigh hope you could remember the pin number by now or if not the number then maybe the place where you keep the number in case you might forget.

Thats the problem Rochelle I'd had a prostate exam that morning So my back up little folded envelope with my PIN number was in to deep to reach. I did try I assure you

yeah this happens to me sometimes too. mostly with computer passwords. pin is fine: i use a date & then every card I get I specifically change the pin to the date. i'm currently trying to sort my passwords so I can get back into my bank. its not my fault dammit! they have 2 separate passwords! one to get in & then one i use every 6 months to pay bills.

Our whole life is based on passwords and PIN numbers followed by security questions........how to keep up with out writing it down somewhere?.
Best thing is when you opened/activated something ages ago and suddenly they want to know the security code.........oh dear........no idea. Luckily my name and DOB hasn't changed so I can always relay on that to verify my identity........ahhhhh modern times

Definitely technology is not for the one with Alzheimer. I can't even remember when miss Palmer last visited let alone pin or password created 2 days ago...writing them down just defeat the purpose. We need to update our own memory.
