Have you ever had to abstain from sex or made a conscious decision to abstain. Excluding the obvious of not being in relationship or not havin funds to visit a WL.

Some sportsman abstain before competition as they believe improves their performance.also some women can abstain for years?

Came out of a long term relationship and wanted to see if I could develop greater self control and discipline. Plus I was hardcore in martial arts and self control and discipline are core principles so I wanted to take self control to a new level.

I tried abstaining.... managed 4 months, while in a live in relationship. It was very difficult not being fully intimate but believe me, it was so intense that first time I actually cried in joy and relief.
