Just wondering if any one have a gym they would recommend
I did a bit of research last year before signing up for a membership and Revo seemed to be the cheapest and most flexible, however it is fairly basic. I go in, lift weights, and go home. There's no pool, classes, minimal staffing etc which suits me.

Depends what you really want?

I think the 24hr chains, Snap, XO, Revo, goodlife, plus etc are all most people need for run of the mill training. Revo, surge and goodlife definitely attract a different crowd to snap for example.

These are good to see whether you prefer lifting or cardio or a combination but dont get sucked into paying some trainer with a fancy bmw, merc or raptor (on finance) a weekly fee to subscribe to his or hers app based training program. I think 95% are just scamming people out of money

Next step up are the built for purpose gyms. Laceys, mma, f45, crossfit, individual gyms, powerlifting places, rock climbing etc. I like this tier as you can sorta choose an interest and its dead easy to make friends pretty and training doesnt become such a chore but it ultimatelty depends what you want. You also pay shitloads more.

F45 are amazing-

45 minute high intensity workouts.
I nearly had a 6 pack after 3 weeks!
I nearly vomited after the first few classes, it’s intense but sooo worth it.

World Gyms are the best "commerical" gyms I've been to.
Franks Gym in Burswood is great for a (less commercial?) gym
