A prominent Sydney media ‘personality’ and mother-of-two will reveal her secret double life as a high-class escort on Sunday Night this week. Samantha X, a 40-year-old $5,000 a night sex worker is going public after writing a tell-all book about her double life. “When I look back on how I juggled the two lives, I am astounded," she says in the exclusive interview with reporter James Thomas. She also reveals the remarkable support she has received, particularly from her female friends, who know of her alter-ego. "I volunteer at the school tuck-shop and most parents know what I do," she said.
"Do you think your profession defines you as a parent? I don’t. I don’t think that because you’re a neurosurgeon you’re necessarily a good parent. I don’t think that if you are a criminal you’re a bad parent." After working in one of Sydney’s most exclusive bordellos for 18 months, Samantha X started out on her own and now charges $800 an hour or $5000 a night. "You'd think for 12 hours we'd be having sex all night but that is so far from the truth." Now she believes she can help save marriages because of her experiences with the married men who pay more than three times the average weekly wage for a night of her company. Her advice to women whose husbands stray is surprising. "I hear a lot about marriage from the man's point of view. They say they are not listened to, they aren’t heard." "I give them intimacy; it's not necessarily about sex."

Interesting that "double life stories" connected with the industry still arouse so much attention.......it certainly is nothing new and thousands of them (the stories) have surfaced. Why the on-going fascination? I guess far more women have done it (famous or not) than expected. (It is a bit like discovering (sadly) how many girls (and boys) have been sexually assaulted. Honestly when I am talking to women of my age group nearly every second one has a story to tell.)
And in regards of the "media personality"......why come out now? why come out at all?

Ahoy Rochelle, I agree with your remarks, but, I suspect the reason she is coming out(off the closet) is to promote her new book, after all she has worked in the media and hence knows how to use the media.

Oh yes!! this is so true and very sadly the numbers of sexually assaulted people - it's so much higher than statistics suggest as the majority of people don't report it.

I know of mothercraft nurses that even though the learnt it all when it was time for them to have children they panicked and discovered what they were taught was not always what to do.

I believe blue collar workers may see things in a different light then say white colour workers.
Also if you are rich then different if you are poor.
I was very poor but now well off and happy I experienced both sides of the fence.
Depending on how much money you have, how stressful is your work and how much spare time you have will govern how you raise your children.
Raising children no black or white way and often it depends on the child and the situations they find themselves in.

WL have a good idea of people and their situations. They are good at anger management and helping us punters in our hard times. They often find the solution and bring a smile to our face.
Seriously it depends on the WL if they know or do not know how to raise children.

Channel Seven would have paid her for the story plus offered other incentives to her as they seem to be doing with a number of people they have featured on Sunday Night of late

Goff is well experienced in journalism so maybe we may see her she reporting on other stories similar hers for Channel Seven or writing articles for any newsprint magazines Seven has ownership of or maybe they intend to do a mini series and use her as their adviser, mini series are usually based on a book ....the story has opened up endless avenues for Goff and Seven to explore together
