does anybody have any info on genital warts i know that when u get herpes generally you have it for the rest of ur life is it the same with genital warts? also i know that with herpes if someone has it then they can pass it on through oral sex, i just ask these questions cause a girl i was with a few months ago found out that she has genital warts, i didnt have sex with her but i did finger her and she gave me head so i just wanna make sure im clean if anyone could help me id really appreciate it.

Genital warts (or Condyloma, Condylomata acuminata, or venereal warts) is a highly contagious sexually transmitted infection caused by some sub-types of human papillomavirus (HPV). It is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. Genital warts are the most easily recognized sign of genital HPV infection.

Genital warts often occur in clusters and can be very tiny or can spread into large masses in the genital or penis area. In women they occur on the outside and inside of the vagina, on the opening (cervix) to the womb (uterus), or around the anus. They are approximately as prevalent in men, but the symptoms may be less obvious. When present, they usually are seen on the tip of the penis. They also may be found on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum, or around the anus. Rarely, genital warts also can develop in the mouth or throat of a person who has had oral sex with an infected person.


Just as a sideline Stevo the aussie govt is now vaccinating all girls aged 12 to 26 with a vaccine against most types of HPV virus which causes genital warts so hopefully eventually it will be erradicated. Some types of the HPV virus can cause cervical cancer in females which is well not a nice way to go!

Its more of a problem if the woman gets it(HPV) but it can of course be passed on from male to female. Most of us have already been exposed to it thru sex in one form or the other!!!

yes good addvice ..i have had them,,if you dont gett on top off it early can be a pain full thing,,its harder for girls to gett ridd off them then guys,,had them burned off with ice..and some special acid,,not god at all as they spreed ..fairly quick,,they look like littel carliflowers .lol..ups spelling mistake ..but you gett the idear,,and on a man sits mostly behind the head off the penis ..

sounds nasty i really dont wanna get them, i think this is a bit of a wake up to me, if a girl will let me have sex with her without a condom then im normally so happy to do it (i dont like condoms) but its still gonna feel good with the condom on and its a lot better to be safe.
