Bah! I had to get up early today to go repair my nails, because I broke one taking off my shoes this morning when I got home (yes I was too impatient to get the damn things off!). Had coffee with a girlfriend which was lovely, as doing things regular people do is so rare for us. But now I can't sleep. Usually I can snooze/nap when I'm tired, but for some reason I just can't seem to doze off So I decided to come on here and bitch a little bit Lucky you!
Maybe I can doze off on the couch. Might give that a try! But must make sure I get up in time for work!

Hope y'all out there are having better luck at resting than me. If not that you better all be having fun with the lovely ladies at Langtrees! Or else!!

Sorry to hear your sleeping and nails are going too well!

Well it's a bit early for me to sleep and it's dead on the forum so I'm sitting in my half furnished house (as I'm selling off everything I own slowly) and as I'm 3,750km's from LT's so no sex I'm trying to amuse myself by recording a song with the last of my recording equipment before it gets packed up and put into storage. I think my singing and guitar might have scared the neighbours but it beats watching TV I've been inspired by dreams of being back at LT's so I'm recording "house is a rockin'" (don't bother knockin')

I've been off work for a week now cause I just haven't been feeling too well and my sleeping pattern is all over the place! One day I'm up bright and early like a normal person, next day I can't sleep until 5am and wake up at 3pm.

Have a nice cup of tea, and read a good book - that always makes me sleepy!

I can understand that to a degree... Days off tend to be wasted because by the time you get home from work all you want to do is catch up on sleep.... I struggle to sleep if the sun is up before I go to bed :/

I found that the aromatherapy spray I have helps me sleep... It's for linen but I spray a little on my pillow and it helps .... maybe find a smell that is comforting?

I'm usually okay...I can get into the snooze zone and go for it, but struggled a bit today. I was in a good mood and my mind was whirring so I couldn't relax. Also having a yummy dinner and a litre of water didn't help (I'm a bit of a dickhead sometimes!) But luckily my usual remedy worked today - well kind of. It's usually a DVD I've seen a million times and the couch, but today it was just the heater blowing on me, lying on the couch in my snuggly robe and a blanket, and low and behold I got 2 hours Yay! Decided to go for a super colourful outfit to keep me happy and awake for tonight. It's definitely bright

Haha lol well thank Topaz, was a bit of fun, having been doing it for about 35 years so kinda got good at it now I guess. One thing I enjoy doing the most is multi tracking vocals and harmonies either with myself or with someone else. Here is an vocal-only song, I'm not doing the bass vocal and one of the mid harmonies but am doing the rest. I was going to sing Pixie a song last time I saw her but she has such an amazing voice I had to just get her to sing instead

Aaaaaaaah good old sleep. I worked out that I sleep best after a night shift when I don't think about the stuff I have to do when I wake up. A bit of tricking myself (admittedly) but it somehow works. Instead of making a list of things to do I make a list of things I might do if I wake up too early. No 'to do list' pressure before bed time

Regarding this....FUCKING FABULOUS!!! Excuse the swearing, but I love it Not quite goosebump inducing as the other one but definitely good fun and amusing. You've got a decent range there (not that I know anything about music). I kept expecting your voice to crack...I'm very impressed that it didn't Well done

If that's how you keep yourself entertained when you're bored, you should never be bored!
