Have several a mid 30s to mid 40s FWB ie 20+ year age gap. This post was more than 3yrs ago, so 3 yrs older/wiser and changed situation.

Alway tricky, especially when one develops feelings. I’ve had two FWB over the years. A couple and a younger woman. Couple were awesome, lovely kinky people. They had been in the swinger scene and just wanted a third wheel. Great friends in public, even better in private
