O.K. here goes...the topic is FSAD (female sexual arousal disorder)...hands up all those sufferers... :hello: ok so only i have my hand up so far...anyway the KEOGH INSTITUTE of W.A is studying this disorder and need guinea pigs oops i mean sufferers to partake in a trial that they are running to try and pin point the cause of this so that they can fix it YEAH...there is not much involved on your part...you get to sit infront of a computer screen with a small tampon size probe inserted and watch boring docos and then a bit of porn...answer a few questions and then off you go with a reward at the end....ive done it, it doesnt hurt...takes about 2hrs three times over 2mths and off you go..we do need more people to do the trial you are checked out medically and psych wise too so you have nothing to lose...anyone interested just pm me and i can answer any more questions or just post on here....

as they say "you gotta be in it to win it"...

seriously it is a great cause as we all deserve to have an enjoyable and rewarding sex life...FOREVER....

You got it babe...what the study is for is, you know when you used to be in the mood you would get that warm tingly feeling with moisture and when you orgasmed you flooded and pulsed and all those wonderful things and now well...you're pretty dam sure you had an orgasm but it just doesnt feel like it used to...thats FSAD....and you wouldnt mind having sex so the mind is saying yes but the body is lagging behind in the moisure department and that orgasm seems to be on back order due anyday now just not sure when..no matter how nicely you ask it to arrive express post...so what the KEOGH INSTITUTE is studying is how this disorder is related to blood circulation to the 'essential bits' and with medication (as viagra does for men) we can get things moving in 'that' department so we dont have to take out shares in KYcompany for that enjoyable experience that leaves us throbbing ...there are a couple of studies that are being taken so you may be able to do 1 or all of them..it doesnt take much for you to do them..they take a blood test to check your testosterone levels and as long as they are ok..you have a chat to a councelor (just to make sure you still DO want to have sex) then its down to the tests....

Just for those that are wondering as they may have seen me once or twice up at lp's...yes i want to have sex...yes i do enjoy having sex..its just that no matter what i do (or the other person does) most of the time its that elusive light at the end of the tunnel thing where i know its there its just too far away to get there right now so i might just pass it up this time...this is no reflection on the quality of the participants, its just part of the team playing another game...(one it obviously enjoys more than sex)...lol

So any of you out there feeling in the same boat (or playing with the only half a team ) dont get stressed it happens to the best of us and it is something that believe it or not is reasonably common just obvioulsy not talked about for one reason or another..but because we have such a great place here i wanted to not only bring it out in the open for medical research, but to also let other women know that they arent alone and it shouldnt get you done...talk to your partner and hopefully that can help if everyone is understanding things can then be done to help...and hopefully if these test can be done then we too could soon have DRUGS to help us like the men have to help them....

So dont be ashamed, or embarrased it IS a medical condition that can hopefully be helped one day...

But if youre still not sure you know the old saying "try try again until you succeed" well keep that in mind anyway....
