Ever caught anything from a working lady enquiry

Just curious, as this is a major concern for me. In seeing a working lady private or brothel, has anyone ever caught anything, from the worker (obviously if can go the other way too).

I'm very particular in practising safe sex (condoms for oral and sex, but the thought is always there. But I still feel nervous afterwards...is it just me.

Well, I am surprised my Old writings are gone....
I started to write a long story of: who the Perth based WL is, why I was there & with whom & how come some WL's falsely advertise a body that is at least 20kg lighter.
Anyhow long story.......

I don't know what it was but balls swell up to where about, 100mm in diameter.
First My left ball, it wasn't painful at first & my wife just loved the banging effect but after a few days it became very painful & eventually went down to a nearly normal size but after another few days my right Ball started to swell & got painful and bigger, probably to 120mm dia. It was like that for at least 4 days.
I could not walk & I had finally decided to go to 'Sir Charles Gardener Hospital".

I had my wife drive me and I had to explain the whole sordid thing to about 20 or so nurses doctors and even the check in Ladies & it was fckn embarrassing..

My Balls where basically on display for ant medical staff to look at...everyone wanted to have a look.

It sounds like Chlamydia to me. A friend of mine contracted that a few years ago (not from me) and he said that one of his balls swelled up. It is a dangerous one, because, statistically, ladies often get no symptoms, so can pass it on without knowing it, or meaning to. So, even if she was getting regular 3 month checks, she most likely wasn't aware of it.

Unlikely, as it would show up with you re-contracting it. But if it is a concern, getting her checked is not a drama, especially as you guys hire ladies together and she knew all about it.

The sex industry is pretty safe, at least within the Western countries. In most countries in Europe or in Victoria sex workers are registered and have regular health checks.
The problem is that the industry becomes "undermined" by sex workers from developing countries, i.e. Asia or Africa. They come in on tourist visa or illegally and start to work in adult entertainment establishments right away. There were a few cases of HIV in Frankfurt/Main red light district roughly in the laste 90'ies. I am positive that very occasionally an HIV case or STD case occurs. But it remains very rare, nevertheless.
Here a few infos about contracting STD's:
It is almost impossible to contract Herpes genitalis via oral sex. BUT: by the age of 50 roughly 50 to 60% of the population has a Herpes genitalis WITHOUT knowing it, because fortunately most people have no symptoms, means never develop break outs! It is a harmless as Herpes simplex, means the herpes around the mouth area which most people contract during child hood from being kissed by diverse relatives. There are many people who had only one or two sex partners and who are suffering fro Herpes genitalis They know about their Herpes because they have break outs. Women are more concerned than men and often have breaks out before the period/ PMS.
Chlamydias, Gonorrhoea and almost ALL others sexually transmitted diseases (except HIV) are transmittable via oral sex without condoms. Somehow it does not make too much sense to use no condoms while performing oral sex while using them for intercourse. HERE ARE THE VERY GOOD NEWS: there are very very rare cases of sexually transmitted diseases within the sex industry in Western Countries! It is so seldom that using a sex service appears safer than picking up a sex partner randomly in a bar. I have talked literally to tons of sex workers within different countries. Never encountered anybody who had a STD. There were a few HIV cases two times in the porn industry, years ago in Los Angeles, because some irresponsible performer used a faked medical certificate/ statement. The last case I have heard about was in early 2000ns. Someone else on this site, another member mentioned that there was a new case in October 2010, within the porn industry in LA.
Most clients who were physicians or Dentists were the least worried persons, because they simply have less paranoia. An advice I would like to give is that it is better to never believe in statistics. I think carefulness and caution certainly and doubtlessly is necessary but paranoia is NOT necessary. Of course, it is a different story when traveling for sex services to Asia, as Thailand. The sex industry is moving more and more to other countries, as Laos or Vietnam, since Thailand has increasing rates of HIV. Nevertheless, there are still tons of Western clients who travel there, seek sex services and pay extra money for sex without condoms.

I don't believe that I am hearing this in this day and age AND on an Adult forum!

Firstly - your medical records are confidential, the only people who will see them are the people who you give permission to, and those who have a court order to look them up. Believe me, if someone has a court order to look at your medical records, they sure as hell wont be giving a f**k about whether you had a dose or not. That will be the least of their worries - and yours.

Secondly - there is no shame in finding out you have an STD. The shame is if you know you have one and do nothing about it and spread it around. Which, you did not do. This is not the dark ages where you can get killed for it. Geez!

As for the WL concerned - don't name and shame her. Nothing good ever comes from that, in these situations anyway. I assume you have let her know? If you really feel you have to, then answer anyone who pm's you about it. But only potential clients of hers. Don't give credence to those who only want to know for nosiness value. Those kinds of people are a menace.

I am glad that you got over the initial problem, but I hope you get over feeling shame about it. Shame is a destructive emotion, no good comes from that. It was wrong of the WL not to email you back and say that she was getting onto it, but that is her problem. I am sure she went through the correct channels.

Medical record confidentiality.......A lot more people see your records within the health system than you give permission too, the permission thing is only relevant to areas external to the health organisation your records are with. Adherence to the privacy provisions are only subject to the integrity of those with access to them. In short a lot of people have "access" to your records, luckily this access is not often abused.

No not I'm put off, I respect what they do, even if one meeting with one went wrong.

Although most in my extended family have a very negative and dim view of WL's.
I guess they hate them emphatically and fanatically, you might say.

My big question is....
Why are people so unkind, you try & tell them something and they turn on you.

If you are that paranoid, don't do it. Sounds like too much drama for you and her. And if you think that I am criticising you this time, yes I am. I think people with as many hang ups as you have, have no business visiting working girls. It is a pastime for those who think more freely than someone obsessed about whose reading their medical records, what would happen if so and so found out, and on and on, ad nauseum. Occasionally I have a paranoid client, and the session is never good, and it is because of their hang ups.

I realise that you claim to have caught "something" from a working girl, and that you claim to have caught it via DATY. Why don't you develop some research skills and find out what it was, and what the chances are of catching it that way? Because I don't know of anyone else at all who has caught anything, ever, from a working girl, and no-one at all in the sex industry or outside of it who has ever caught anything via DATY. So - since you are the one with the big issue, do the research, and let us know the outcome. Or not. As I have said, I am over this damn thread now.

I think there could be some credibility in his statement, or at least a good debate could be made. I have seen love make some people do very irrational things.

Yes it has been known as a mental disorder or it can drive u mental at the time,lol,it also has the same a effect as been on 'coke' or as i like to call it 'nose candy'lol,so the come down is pretty big!Did u no it only last about 18 mths to two yrs so u can reproduce and move on that is natures/gods way to survive and populate the world ,thats why we fuck alot when we are in love to have babies just like the animal world.

Oh my, what a pity this thread has gone off the rails. I think we should go back to your original question. I personally don't know anyone that has an std while working. The ladies are tested every month, this includes all std checks, everything! All the ladies that I know use condoms, yet I am always amazed at the amount of requests from clients to "go natural" I'm not aware of catching stds from sweat, cold sores can be spread from kissing but luckily most of the stds that I have read up on are transmitted through sex or oral without using a condom. I think the problem with one of your earlier posts onwithit was that having an std with those severe symptoms that you describe and having to be treated in hospital, we assume you would remember the name of the std. Knowing what it was that you suffered from makes it easier for all of us to understand how it might have been transferred, maybe then we can learn something from it. I'm glad you're in good health now and I'm sure we all agree that stds are out there and you have to be careful and use common sense. Also if anyone is having sex with multiple partners then all people should get std tested, not only W/Ls. xx

Thanks for that, Chlesea. I agree about stds being caught through sex without a condom, but in all my research I have not seen any evidence of stds being caused by oral without a condom. What did you find out in regards to this, and where? I prefer to deal only in facts, which is why Onwithit's claims do not sit well with me.

Hey Alecia, yeah i've not known anyone that has caught an std from oral without a condom but we have these little red books at Langtrees it is a Scarlet Alliance publication for the Australian Sex Workers Association. I was looking through it and under chlamydia and gonorrhoea it said transmission was possible from unprotected oral, vaginal or anal sex. I have been told by a doctor that the chances of catching an std are very, very slim from unprotected oral sex. All the WLs that I know are very strict with their and the clients hygiene and take their health very seriously. I agree with you Alecia, when it comes to this important subject there is no room for error or guessing. xx
