Elysium - Movie Review

Compared to the directors last effort the awesome District 9 ... Elysium was a s##t sandwich.

Ignorant me..........is that the new movie with Matt D (the cute guy from "borne ultimatum" etc)?
I kind of remember a preview on TV while I was on the phone........so please refresh my memory.

A few of the cast have returned I see. I enjoyed Elysium but it just didn't go there like District9 did.
Still enjoyed it though. Red2 is good fun if you are happy to hang your brain on a peg on the way in.

Yes Matt Damon was in it. I'm not a fan of his and anyone could have played his role.
Sweetie but now oldie Jodie Foster was in it too and she was sleep walking through her role.

Thought the robots were cool.

I actually liked the crazy South African bad guy.... much better acting effort than Damon.

I was really looking forward to this movie, but ended up being very disappointed
Damon was good, but the plot and background story into the characters were very thin.
It should have been a lot better than it was...

Ahaha great description! Haven't seen it yet but that gave me a chuckle. Haven't seen Elysium either actually... One day I'll crawl out from under my rock.
