There are anecdotal reports that the "shadow banning" that they deny happens has been quietly going away since the announcement.

I know alot of WL's get shadow banned, so im curious to know if any of you have seen an increase in engagement?

I know censorship has been a massive thing in the Social Media world lately and I'm not saying there shouldn't be but it seems social media has been used predominantly to shape a specific ideology or make things look one way and not the other.

I think that unless something is explicitly a crime, the moderators and/or automatic Policies set by the Social media companies shouldn't interfere as they are NOT a news reporting agency and thus have no basis for banning specific things - especially if it's just because they personally don't agree with such things, like the Sex Industry. I hope with the takeover, freedom of speech as well as self is no longer censored, unless what you're posting is a crime of course

Cancel culture and woke left are dominant on social media. It does not take much to upset moderators on social media. Trump infamously got banned from Twitter and may come back to posting his drunk tirades.

He needs to buy FB next as the censorship there is insane. I am currently banned from posing for 2 days and no group posts for 6 days after referring to Putin like a bad-tempered tantrum. It will be interesting to see if the Orange man is allowed back. If it goes against their dialogue or agenda they cancel you out. Trigger words that don't need a moderator.

The Twtr policy is way harsh compare to FB, FB at least suspends/restricts for a time period and we can again regain access. But that is not the case in Twtr. and if i am not wrong I think this is the right time to get control of twtr as its a huge platform to discuss about the ongoing issues like for example: the trail of Capt. Jack Sparrow and his EX. and social media play a role in any cases like that now a days, Don't you think?

I feel like FB is just over the top lol and has been pushing an agenda since the start of the pandemic. Goodness forbids if you say bat soup on there, that will instantly get you 30 days. The fact-checking is laughable, as again if it doesn't fit their narrative it is fake news. As long as your not breaking the law or Inciting a riot the case may have been with the orange man. Respectful free speech should be allowed. I only use Twitter for world news and check the daily Covid 19 numbers for SA as SA Health blocked me on FB. I simply asked them to provide an independent link to data supporting their claim. A few weeks later notice I can't view them. If you are a free thinker and open to exploring topics from a range of sources and people then make up your own mind. Cancel culture is real. While I am very wary of Musk and his true agenda. He thinks outside the square in fact outside the envelope in rationale. In aviation flying outside of the envelope, is something considered rather dangerous. But for Musk, that is his starting point. The controlling of what you see and say to fit an agenda is being pushed from a variety of platforms. Interesting you are not hearing a thing about the threat of China on Australia nor the increased alert level. Nor the very real possibility of WW3 being announced soon. Why! because it doesn't fit their current agenda? I do see some rivalry happening between Musk & Gates

I don’t use both Facebook and Twitter much even though have accounts. Both platform should be free speech. Twitter and Facebook have in recent been seen as being one sided.
