Easter Traditions...What are yours?

Of course we are not all religious but do some of you still eat fish on friday? Or commit yourself to a chocolaate coma?
Do you go somewhere over the long weekend? Do you have any traditions if your family has young ones?

What do you over the Easter break?
(Also taking a break and doing nothing is completely valid)

This year I decided to do an old family tradition; my version is the Italian method, and you eat it on Good Friday.
I decided to cook Bacalhau, now for non-Europeans Baraclhau is salted code fish and I do mean salted, 6 months minimum.
Most recipes will quote "Portuguese Bacalhau" as they are historically known for Bacalhau however most Europeans counties had their favorite recipes or individual versions of salted Bacalhau.

@HappyPirate I worked in an Italian family company once and tried Bacalhau.

Dried salted fish then rehydrated in the office kitchen. It stunk out the whole office but tasted great. Smelt like a corpse.

I'm guessing it's origin was ancient before refrigeration. Food was salted and dried for use later.

Sticking with the Italian theme we always do a seafood feast and yes I'm in a food coma. Dhufish, prawns, oysters Kirkpatrick downed with copious quantities of wine a massive Easter basket of choccies and scotch as a night cap.

Naturally the best part is sharing it with family and friends.

To the team in the office... the Easter bunny is on its way to you. ENJOY
