Drug addiction and how to overcome

A family member appears to be displaying all the signs they are addicted on drugs. We have asked them and they just say they stressed and tired from running the business. Any advice if you have been through it, to help them without pushing them away?

Do interventions work, and there is no way you can force people into rehab?
