The meaning of love means different things to different people.
Real Love can it be grasped for a few minutes or does one need a lifetime to learn how to enjoy it?
When a lady touches your soul in a special way it is love but can others also do this?
Love we search for but do we know if we have found it?
Can true love be destroyed or nothing in any world can?
Does sex hides love like a thick blanket of fog?

I am happy and often feel the power of love. But then I could be just a foolish man who has found fool's gold.
I do not mind as it sure makes me feel so good. :)

It is still around, if perhaps harder to find. I know people close to me who are truly madly deeply in love and it gives me hope. Ironic, for a hopeless romantic. :)

I think that many people still do find true love.

As many now as ever did in 'the good ole days'.

The difference is that in the old days, nothing much changed in people's lives. Most people were born, grew up and died within 100 kms of where they were born. People didn't change much either.

Today, everything in our lives changes so much that the people we fell in love with a few years ago may be completely different people now.

If you both do not change at the same rate, or at least in complimentary ways, then the love will fade.

But it was still true love while it lasted.

So, yes, true love still exists, just don't expect it to last forever - and if you get 30 or 40 years, then count yourself lucky. (mind you, after 40 years, you may both be so blind and toothless that you will be stuck with each other for the remaining years of your lives !)

Cheers.

mmm its not the same as what it used to be..
its not expected to marry and settle down now..

hell i thought i would be married three kids and a house by 25..

well i have the mortgage and thats all at 25.. but im getting there and some of my wants have changed...

i believe in love, i really do (read my tattoo) but i think for me im on an extended hiatus from love right now due to past events..

if its meant to happen it will but im not going to force it or will it to happen...

i have seen people that have found it, and some who have not..

its keeping it that seems to be the problem now days

I once read a definition for love as being ...Would you take a bullet for that person?
To put someone elses life before that of your own. In all honesty, there are not many people I would take a bullet for.

I love being in love...especially in the beginning of a relationship..when lust changes all the chemicals in your brain.
When just thinking about your lover gives you a tinge of pain in your c**t ,your heart pumps faster, you don't want to eat and your clit is on high alert all day long.
When the initial hard core lust subsides and you are still passionate about the other person and they are your #1,
then its a pretty good chance you are in love.....of course it helps if the other person feels the same way about you. How long it lasts and how deep it grows depends on those concerned.

You may have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince!
