For us men, do you remember the first time you ever managed to buy a packet of condoms all by yourself? Did you walk into the chemist feeling proud you are now a man or like myself did you buy them from a coin operated dispenser in the public toilets?
And for the ladies what was it like buying the pill for the first time? Did you wait until everybody else had gone and it was just you and the pretty chemist lady assistant?

I drove 70+ km into Geraldton to buy mine Northampton is far closer but everybody knows you or worse They know your Mother
Yet when the eldest was a older teen he just went shopping with his mum in Coles/Woolies picked a packet off the shelf and put in the cart It was Mums worry from then on

Ahoy I walked to the local Pub, bought a six pack off beer and a packet of cigs when I was fifteen, shared them with my mates. Condoms no big deal.

I remember at University the college where I stayed I was elected Captain Condom....I was also the beers man.

We had a spare room and would order cartons and crates of beer in at a discount price and sell them to the students We usually required that they placed a weekly order with us so as to not miss out.

I also stocked vast quantity of condoms and blokes would always come a knockin to buy a packet of condoms.

In those days being the beers man and Captain Condom was a very lucrative business
