Do you do it between the sheets?

Seeing W/L's usually we do it on a bed with a couple of sheets under us.
However in the movies, couples seem to make love between the sheets.
What is the norm for a couple:
In one night stands,
In a relationship,
Living together, either married or not?

Personally, I like to see whats going on, but if we plan on sleeping after, I want sheets (& blankets) at the ready.

for hubby and me, it does vary depending on the weather! in winter, we will quiet often do it between the sheets, or even with the doona still on (at least initially) in summer its definatly on top of the sheets!!
one night stands (in the past or swinging), usually on top of the sheets i guess... probably more for the fact its faster and more convenient and your not going to be going to sleep after!!

for me.... witha partner between the sheets, either before sleeping or in the morning before arising.

But with a lover...who is not staying over its always on the top of the sheets or doona.

Then again with a lover, visitor or one night stand it may be over the balustrade, on the stairs, the dining room table, on a rug in front of the fire, in the spa, in the sauna, in the pool, in the car, in the shower, over the kitchen benchtop, the board room table or sitting on the toilet!

im not really fussed where it happens. In winter it will normally start between the sheets though

we always get tied up in the sheets from all the action. so now we generaly get rid of them. unless we're haveing a sneak bonk while someone is in, or close to, our room

The tendency for movies (major ones at least) to have the action between the sheets I think is more to cover up the actors and actresses in the scene, since not a lot of them want to appear naked on screen and to keep ratings at the PG level.

In real life, between the sheets under blankets creates more a sense of atmosphere for me and as such I find it a little more intimate. You shed the blankets when you want to go a little more wild

In my case, sheets/blankets are more used as part of foreplay. Something to prevent the partner to see the full glory of human nakedness, and of course to tantalise and tempt your fantasy. In fact, someone mentioned that silk sheets/pillows are tools of enticement!

As part of foreplay after you turn off the lights and lit the candles , you rip off the sheets to reveal your beautiful naked partner. I find it hard to breath if I venture down below if the sheets are covering me. In winter sometimes the blankets are required unless you first ensure you have a small heater to keep your naked bodies warm.
