Hey Bepp
Just remember nothing is ever as bad as you think it is ok
You need to seek professional help if you are seeing why people take their own life.

We all can do a trip to the shrink occasionally, it is a good thing and they do help.
Anyway if you get bad thoughts when on here pm me, I will listen

Fight it buddy!

Ahoy Bro Bepp,
You Aarrrrrr not alone on how you feel, every day can become just a struggle, as all the above have said,
just reach out someone will listen and be here.

Confession time;- I have had a large anxiety attack today driving my car, it was no fun for me or anyone else if I caused an accident, I was happy when i got off the road.

On the funny side;- "Why was a Pirate driving a car anyway?"

I used to get them driving to work HP, had them regularly for about a year it cost me my job because I was regularly late then the medication made me drowsy which only made things worse.

Bepp, sorry to hear about your depression, I understand it well, hope you see your doctor about it, from personal experience they can help.

O.K, this is not an area where I am any expert but I have heard of depression actually being caused or worsened by some medications. If the "black dog" bit you right after you were diagnosed with your medical problem and started taking medication for it those meds or the condition itself could have been the trigger.

I was once prescribed a medication to ease the symptoms of an enlarged prostate and it scrambled my brains. I was an absent-minded mess and it took my then teenage daughter to draw my attention to it when she asked me quite candidly on the Freeway why I was driving "like an old woman". I stopped taking the meds and voila - my head cleared up. My Doctor said he had never heard of that happening to anyone else but a urologist I consulted a few months later said he had seen it before.

The moral of this is check out the meds you are on with another Doctor or even have a free consultation with "Dr Google". Also, don't hesitate to ask for a referral to a psychologist with experience in this area as they can work wonders.

Hang in there, mate and all the best in your fight.

A few years ago now I had glandular fever plus Fatigue.
I should have gone to hospital but it was not realised until a few months later so I refused to go.
Anyway after 12 months time to go back to work. I was given a very mild antidepressant.
The truth I felt guilty and weak having to have them. It took me a few months before I was able to accept I needed them and then they worked because I was not fighting them anymore.
It did take a number of years before I went off them altogether.
And now I am a new man :)
I have learnt my cup is always half full and there will always be someone worse off than me.
The moral of this story is any medication needs to be closely monitored and and are subscribed to give a positive result. :)
We are all human and yes we all have bad hair days, even us who are bald.

This is great information and I think it is more common than people realise, my dad had almost the same symptoms from cholesterol lowering meds.

Maybe the opposite here and I would not recommend this treatment for depression.

I had a fractured skull in 7 places....this causes memory losses which were quite significant there were large gaps of time missing. I was also having déjà vu experiences.

The medication I was on did not help at all it just made me drowsy and vegetated me.....so I then smoked a bit of grass and it actually helped me with remembering things.

I told the neurosurgeon about it and he said that there was research indicating dope was good for head injuries and that while it was continuing to help I should continue smoking it...however he could not prescribe it for me.

In the end the memory gaps returned and the thought processes began to function normally.

It's just a shady patch at the moment Bepp . Give it a bit more time. Do a few things out of the ordinary. Crank your favourite tunes and have a scream into a pillow. Go visit an old friend, make a new friend. Join a club, take up a hobby. A rolling stone gathers no moss .

Bepp, just want to add support to all the good words expressed to and for you in this string. This by itself will show you you have some understanding mates out here. Stay positive firstly. I hope you find your glass is really half full and just maybe you'll find someone to fill the other half as I have.regards...

Always look at the bright side of life...just think fertilizer when you step on poo, donation to the greedy when you get a fine, think of problems as opportunities, life's just a fart, the aroma dissipates and your plumbing feels better after.
