Any other ladies have issues of changing from day to nights and vice versa?

I'm doing one week nights and then one week days and feel like the first day or two of days are a big waste of time because I feel like I'm dying and can't do much energy wise. The transition back to nights isn't as hard.

Any suggestions to help the transition would be great! (Preferably without sleeping tablets)

I'm no lady but that won't stop me butting in as usual. There's loads of info available for shift workers (which is what you effectively are) on how to cope, e.g.:

You probably already know this but working shifts over a long period is not healthy:

Sweet dreams.

Me no lady either. It's true the last time I check.

I've done shift work before and it was pretty shitty, I was young so I was able to adapt better. And they were 12 hours shift too...tried to catch some snooze on the job when I could, on nightshift.

You need at least a day or 2 of rest after working the night shifts...that said, on numerous occasions, I did 3-4 hrs of Zzzzz after a night shift, and head out to lunch with friends. And I felt absolutely fine. :D

I think when I hit my savings goal I will head off for another few months and adjust fully back to days, or when I get closer maybe switching to the 6pm start. Sleeping at 4 am is alot more bearable then 8-9am lol

I think its harder when I get asked to stay back (by a client) I do make it clear that I am on the verge of getting tired and when I get tired I get cranky. They let me have a coffee break and i'm ussually fine. I hate when they say "you can sleep if you want". I'm like why would you pay to watch a girl sleep? I wish I could nap/ sleep with clients but my mind is on high alert! Pity my body sometimes doesnt follow suit. I will always tell a client though at the beginning (before the envelope is handed over) if I am not feeling that my service will be up to the high standards I strive for and then the choice is theirs. These clients end up being some of my favorite ones as they are a little more understanding and accepting. They are also a bit more gentle and slower knowing that I have had a long night :hilarious:

I had to take a quarter of a sleeping tablet to get me to bed last night and still couldnt fall asleep until about 2 am. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to human. Then on to doing cam shows for the rest of the week. Then back to work next week to readjust back to nights.

Lifes hard.

Not a lady but I rotate 7 nights 7 days with 3 days off. It sucks! After the last Nightshift cut 2 hours off your sleep, so sleep 6 instead of 8 etc. Then stay up till say midnight that night and wake up normal time the next morning. What ever you do don't nap during the day! Usually I wake up starving at 2am and can't get back to slep, so get up and drink some water or milk and go back to bed. What ever you do don't lie there looking at your phone for half an hour, you won't get back to sleep if you do.

Also look into ASMR and see if t helps you or not
