Hello there.
I just feel compelled to share something for those who will be interested on reading through this whole piece of writing.
Late last year it was I think I read this book as I wanted to further understand human behavior when it comes to inter gender communication. The Tao of Badass is a book I appreciate as much as a book called Mystery Methods by an author that goes by the name of 'Mystery'. These books are about becoming a man that attracts women through all the right ways. Not through money, gifts , or other external stimulus that ultimately attracts the wrong type of women whether a man is wealthy or not. Even wealthy men don't want a gold digger for anything beyond sex and social proof.
Both of these gentlemen explain the how's and the why's in how we behave when we are around the opposite gender. Right down to neurological inheritances with our physiology that protected us during nomadic times, but no longer serve us in the modern world.
The Tao of Kickass had one element in it that the Mystery Method did not. Joshua Pellicer, stressed in one of his chapters that one of the traits of a man who has it together is one who adds value to life of the woman he is spending his life with. Even if they have the good fortune of sharing time together and may not stay together.......don't stop her from going onto something better. A better situation, or even the man of her dreams. Make sure she leaves BETTER than when she came. That was a lesson I took to heart at the time and is really helping me out TODAY.........
Why am I writing this? Well it is one of those times where I write to reflect, write to learn.....I have always discovered more insights in writing compared to reading. Here is a true story. I met someone 4 months ago....we clicked......we fell in love.......At the time we met, her life was barely holding together in many ways that was no fault of her own. She was only trying to do good. And it seemed like life just kept kicking her down. We spent a lot of beautiful days and nights together. I gave 100% of myself in every way. Personal friends of mine who are reading this will know that to be true.
This great woman had something in her, she had wisdom, determination, and a drive that just needed to be woken up. so I CONTRIBUTED to HER HELPING HERSELF and ACHIEVING GREAT RESULTS HERSELF that turned her life around in a very short time. Health wise, financially, spiritually..........she always had it in her, and she was able to awaken it. She just needed to be triggered. She just needed a 'break'.
Then when her life was back on track.........minimal money worries........a functional house hold........family stability.....working out in the morning......and well on her way of creating a life she has dreamed of since she was a youngling. Suddenly she no longer needed me, and left!!!!!
In the past I believe that resentment would have been a seed that grew into all sorts of other negatives that can consume a person. But the heart felt lesson from the Tao of Kickass taught me that......Our time together was beautiful and will not be forgotten. And she left me as a much happier being than when I first saw her. I see that as a good thing now......... I am happy for her........and happy for any contributions that lead her to summon up her efforts for changing her life.
Thank you Joshua. This would have been another turmoil....but no.....it just is what it is. And I choose to see it as a good deed that did me a lot of good.
