Yes, there are always last resort avenues. And unfortunately that is surgery.
And depending upon what sole purpose of the problem (it has to be singular-focused either severe ED, or curvature currection, or if it's for the mass unfortunate hysteria - size enlargement).
For severe ED
---------------------
If it is severe ED, there are indeed options. The only way I have read and known so far are two things -
intracavernousal injections for on-the-spot delivery of erection. Yes, I have had this once. Hardcore end of the line solution as I was told by my ED doc in nedlands (for anyone who's interested I can give you his details) to have this injection to rule whether or not I have vein leakages or nervous ending problems.....
that day I would never ever forget.
And the other solution is as we all know it - the penile prosthesis. I haven't done much reading on this because it's pretty much the end of all surgical methods...but it's manual implantation / augmentation even as one may call it - the 'internal' hydraulic-based pump.
Curvature Correction
-----------------------------------
I believe I wrote on this on an earlier thread. There's "supposedly"
(I'm saying supposedly, because I sincerely believe that Australia as a whole; IS WAY BEHIND the Europe & the US when it comes to available medical conventions that are already deployed elsewhere in the globe) -
a few options.
I have gathered quite a few articles on Nesbit procedure. This is what my Urologist (after a 4 month waiting list) told me that is all he think of that's available here. It involves having to remove some fraction of length (by bringing the Penis Up) and having tiny stitches put into place at (6 spots from memory I believe). These stitches then supposedly "self-dissolves" after a few weeks of post surgery. My consultation on getting a "quote" on this is $3300.... and that's without admin surgery theatre fees....
In the end I did not go ahead.
For the mass never-ending hysteria - size enlargement
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I won't bother getting to details what I know and risks this involves. But average statistics have told me a LOT of people are unsatisfied at the end....
