Do you think cave men had more than one wife?

Do you believe the human species should not be monogamous and that we are fighting our natural instinct?

Yes we have institutions like marriage but they are born out of conformity like the church and laws. I am talking about deep down in our primal nature/ to our core. Other animals mate with a partner then mate with a new one each season. Certain prides mate with more than one female. We were born to mate with lots of partners to spread our seed and genetic code.

So do you believe we should live monogamously or poly? Are we fighting what comes naturally

We have only been monogamous as a people for just over 1000 years, governements and churches forced the change to breed people for war.Is it natural and the answer is no.

Alot of animals have only one mate for life, this is even more common amongst birds (which can be traced back to the prehistoric dinosaur era)..Cavemen were quite violent towards the females of the species and had many partners though I have often wondered what the ratio of death was caused by disease in that era... It's a really hard question....Some can be fullfilled by just the one partner which I think is awesome if they have that click,,,other's live unhappily in monogamous relationships,,if it's in their instinct to have multiple partners and are in a relationship as such,then with some luck (though I doubt common) both parties in the relationship are aware of this, are honest about it and share in mutual moments of unbridled passion with others (such as swingers clubs, couple swaps etc) and can happily relish in the comfort and companionship of their lifetime (perhaps) partner before, during and after sexual encounters with others..

Men are polygamous by nature that's what they say and I believe in that. Can't live with just one partner, there are times that you crave for something different.
