Can someone please explain carbon tax for me in simple terms?

If my understanding is correct it`s a tax they want us to pay for polluting the air above us. The more we pollute the more tax we have to pay...

Since politicians polute the air every time they speak surely they should have to pay a lot more then the rest of us...

basically the costs of condom, laundry, detergent, soap, shampoo, maintenance will go up..so one will have to pay more for WL's service...lol...carbon tax will be a big killer. Soon they will be taxing smokers for polluting the air, every puff costs you certain %. They work it out how many puff one would take per ciggy, then add the cost to the price of ciggy. lol
