Yes @AmeliaKennedy & @Jamie jackson you are correct. A business like wls who handle lots of 50s it would be not easy to spot on first glance. Hopefully whoever it is gets caught soon by police.
Can u buy ultra violet light testers and claim as tax deduction?

If my memory is right the Commonwealth bank would take the fake fifty dollars note and reimburse you $ 50 bucks in genuine situations only don't know if they still do it.

I’m not sure but it would be handy to have.
In my nearly 3 working years I have only come across this a handful of times though.
