Can One Truly Leave the Sex Industry ?

In my 5-6 years in the escorting world, I have only seen one woman completely get out of the sex industry. Others, a small minority, may leave the sex industry but typically revert back to selling themselves after a few weeks/months/years. I will never forgot the words, “She’ll be back, ” said by a Madame (brothel/escort business owner) at an establishment I worked at overseas. This was after a popular young woman decided it was her last day in the industry, and she wanted to pursue her new “normal” job and boyfriend. She’ll be back……how discouraging, yet later I realized how real the statement actually was.

Well I am no feminist and this is the oldest and surviving industry. I am going to be careful with this because it's a sensitive issue to me. Why? And that he is a spiteful condescending asshole with woman issues and gets a trip in killing off woman's confidence because I cant get any and it makes him feel more of a man to put people him down. While I was giving him shit about his comment. I noticed I went to far but notice that my stand for respect is a lot stronger than I thought. Now we all have a generalised opinion about certain people whether its racial, social or profession of choice. But if a woman wants to leave the industry it is her prerogative as it is her prerogative to choose this industry and stay in it if she chooses. We have freedom of choice here. But to kill off someone inspiration and plans to do something marvellous with their life. Wether they giving up to be a parent or they want to be a criminal lawyer doctor nurse while they studying . I love how people shoot themselves in the foot and act like they know it all and put their opinions on loud speaker. We all have opinions but they only opinions they not even real. Now I could have been more graceful with this client, but I didn't feel like being diplomatic. However I knew what he was doing. he was bating me to see if I buy into society generalisation . That once you a hooker you will never leave. This is just another form of toll poppy and I wont let it run my decisions goals and plans for the future.

Everybody is different, I have seen many girls come into the Industry with specific goals and time frames that have gotten out once the goal was achieved.
Some workers may want to earn enough or train for a specific business that is going to give them a good income and the financial freedom that they want.
