The cruelest aspect of Trumism is that he offered false hope to the battlers when in reality he is elist as the best of them. He didn't even 'drain the swamp', failing to keep all those promises that would have made a difference, such as kerbing the so called elitists and banning ex politicians and holders of high office becoming lobyists.as for all those tariffs and economic sanctions, they didn't bring back jobs they just made goods and services more expensive for the battlers.
No thanks. You might really rue those remakes in twelve months. I give Biden twelve months maximum before he is retires and Kamala Harris takes POTUS.If i had to choose, i'd rather a shift to the left (which means moving closer to the centre) than the direction Trump took and further heading if he had won.
I agree. Respect is understanding there are different views and respecting each side for having them. A trait sadly lacking by many of either side. The US economy seems to do better when the Democrats hold offices, eg Kennedy and Johnson in the 60s, Clinton in the 90s and Obama after the disasterous Bush GFC, which Trump rode on the coat tails of recovery. I suppose Reagan did ok but, ironically, he was the biggest spender of them all (with the exception of stimulus spending due to the GFC and Coronavirus).
There's no point going on as we both have diametrically opposite views. Personally i don`t consider the Democractic Party as a whole to be a left wing party. It is more centrist/centre right. It's more that the US politics has shifted further to the right since the 1980s.
