Brothels and their WL's

Hi

Just wondering if any of the men or women have ever gone to a brothel and found it to be either illegal or a place when international women are 'forced' to work to get their confiscated passports back? For that matter, would you even know if you went to one?

I have seen a few movies where women have either been kidnapped or have applied for international jobs, dancing etc to arrive and find it is more than that and they are forced to work to earn the money to pay off their debts and get their passports back?

I just started thinking about this as I was browsing and thought it would be interested to find out if it actually does happen?

Does this happen much? In Australia?

Anyone actually had any encounters with this seedy side of the business? I'm interested in experiences from both WL's and the men that visit.

Also, if you have had any experience with this, how did it make you feel?

Please don't go into details of establishments, just your general experience/s.

I worked in a house where there were several 'international' girls. It was hard to watch them being forced by their watchers from one job to another barely given time to eat or sleep. One girl was lucky enough to be left alone for an hour a day and well lets just say that with some help she is now back in her own country. Unfortunately they stopped allowing the other girls a break at all.

Wow, how did they insure that you, or any of the other 'local' girls (assuming here you were free to come and go?) didn't tell? Or did people tell, but they had 'systems' in place to ensure they were never actually caught?

I remember a few times brothels have been fined for having under age ladies working there.

A patron does not know what is happening most of the time and of course the ladies will not tell you.

I know some come here and work to pay for their travel to Australia before they can keep any of the money for themselves.

I may have had an underage lady but it is impossible to tell. I did decline one time to a lady just starting and she looked very young but the main reason was because she was under heavy drugs.

The underage thing hits home a bit for me. I know a girl aged only 13 working at a Melbourne suburban brothel. The police have been made aware of the situation, nothing seems to change though. And bollocks to the DHS spokespeople that deny that more than a handful of the children in their custody are doing this!

Bluegrass, I'm glad you refused the underage girl. I suppose the underage girls wouldn't be doing it if there wasn't a market for it so to speak, arrgghh!!

Back to the O/S WL's though, I understand that some women come here, then work to pay off the debt and I have no problem with that when it is their own choice to do so. It is when they are either tricked or forced into it somehow that I have a problem. I don't understand why these foreign girls (the ones doing it against their will) wouldn't say something - even to a client - a plea for help? Fear of punishment? Fear the client would 'dob' to their boss instead? Is there more to it, something I'm missing?

Do you think there are many places where the women are forced to be a WL against their will? If so, do they mostly have local girls and just a few against their will or are generally most places pretty good, above board and do the right thing and then theres the complete dodgy brothels that pretty much have only internationals working against their will? I spose the later would be pretty easy to pick, with only foreigners to choose from?

In Canberra their is a large percentage of Asian ladies. One can only guess what they had agreed to before start working at the brothel.

Yes, I really do wonder how many of them had a full understanding of what they would be doing and under what circumstances before they arrived.

To those of you who have had experiences with foreign women whether you were aware of them being WL against their will or not, did they speak ANY English?

I know it is a scary thought but many speak very little English. I admit it does spoil the situation a little not knowing their feelings ior explaining yours.

Yes, being sure you can communicate with the person you are intimate with certainly makes for a more pleaureable experience. Do you think they are forced into it though? Or by choice, I mean their could be a high % of Asian women working Australia wide?

What about the rest of Australia? Anyone had any experience/s where they suspected the WL they visited was working against her will?
