In your spare time James Joyce Ulysses is truly the book that reads you. You have to try to understand what your reading but keep going it starts to make sense. I have owned a copy for 15 years and only started it last night, written aprox 100 years ago during world war 1.

It's a fantastic read but many people seem to give up on it early. Someone close to me has family roots in Dublin and was born on the 16th of June so i've heard all about Bloomsday!

I think it's the 2nd most written about book, especially in recent history. 1st is the Bible

Doubt that we are learning to take responsibility over our mistakes and this man is my defence. Only one of many, 2 million copies, best seller? must be some demand for information. We are all mad, seen the news lately its depressing.

avoid depression if u can, they will suscribe all sorts of things if they fear you are falling into depression. Honesty helps when they diagnose.

One of my favourites is "Play the piano drunk like a percussion instrument until the fingers begin to bleed a bit" by Charles Bukowski. Crude, rude, raw and gutsy poetry AND so easy to read....and some, in my case, can relate to.

Much like the news most the stuff on facebook is bullshit but sometimes you get lucky. Just like many forums, Just like life! You can search the internet or the horizon for God knows how long looking for something and not find anything worth reading, sometimes you find something that you know is not propaganda. News is very depressing and fishing in a river that has been polluted is not fishing, river system is not well, fishing no fun..

Fishing in the river sux unless im chasing mulla or nice fat blacky bream for the snaps.
I mainly follow the landbased beach and rock fishing, and the 4x4 scenes :)
The news on fb can be dodgy but love reading peoples comments on it.

when I went 4x4 I smashed my head on the roll bar when we went to the cotter when I bounced up and hit the bar, ouch that hurt. Land Based Beach, Estry/Jarvis Bay??? Horse numbers dropping locally and its like anything you want people to pay for horses to be trained, people are not dumb, judge a man, judge the track. All im saying people aren't going to throw money away if they feel out of place at their local tracks, community spirit is meant be represented by local like minded representatives.Numbers are always dropping and for me its the grass roots of our racing and its cultural significance and importance to maintain Australia's identity can not underestimated. Its ok today not really but its something that in today's multimedia age will be addressed but its better to be proactive not reactive, its not that hard to raise the bar and to be responsible enough to raise each others standards. When people rubbish people directly and call them drugos on face book for god knows what reasons they really don't help anyone at all, thats enough to discourage owners straight away.
