Becoming attached

Ladies and Gents..

I'm interested in your thoughts and opinions on the following...

Someone who is in a subordinate position to you, but you work with alot and on occasion one-on-one, says to you that they feel they are becoming too attached to you and they are worried what you would think about that...


I'm curious as to:
1. what is your thoughts on what they mean by this?
2. what would you do about it?

what would you do about it? At this point, I would sit down with this person and find out exactly what they mean. As this is occurring at work, you both may be in a very difficult situation, remember, at work others can judge you and your actions and will use any situation to benefit themselves.

They are really just throwing it out that they like you!

Try and sleep with them if you find them somewhat atteactive. Decline politely if not. Deal with possible outcomes later

Ya thats what i want to do HP... its a tricky situation... normally i would just shut it down but in this case there is the small issue that i like them... however the situationyou have highlighted is a big possibility..

Ahoy;- ThatGuy, look Bro;- You need to talk to this person, take my advice do it outside working time, but, do have a straight forward chat and lay down your cards with this person. The job and working place is interconnected with so much more in a person life, when you drop a BomB into it, things can go really bad, keep this in mind and remember we all are watched at our work place, no matter who you are and what job you have.

HP your advice is sound my friend.. and I agree with what you have said.. I want to talk with her and find a solution to this issue.. however circumstances have made that difficult..

We spoke earlier today on the phone.. and we are on the same wavelength as to what we are saying.. but circumstances are going to make it very difficult..
