This morning, I was looking on Instagram as I do, I find it better than facebook now as there is less bullshit and more cat pictures and photos of what people had for lunch. But this morning, my heart broke.

Since my partner has been dancing now most of her life, I was sucked into a TV show called "Dance Moms" - a show that we both started watching about 4 years ago. Long story short, the show follows some Elite dancers aged between 8 - 12 in attending competitions and the fights their mums have with the dance teacher and judges. It's quite amusing seeing the mums fight and was good to watch the girls progressively get better with their dance skills.

Here comes the disappointment. Somebody Hacked one of these Dancers, (Maddie) who is often referred to as the Star of the show. (She's the girl from the Sia Videos) and uploaded a video of her mucking around with another dancer.
The problem was mid way through the video, she "Flashes her bare Chest to the camera" - This girl is all of 12, and I know the video was NOT intended for the internet or public, but sadly now it's out there, it will haunt this poor girl forever. What was probably a "Child" being a "Child" will now have devastating effects on her career. Not to mention that this video is Illegal and being placed into such a public domain is just sickening.

I don't think anyone under the age of 18 has the mental capacity to make decisions and therfore I think we should REMOVE or Disable the camera function on these childrens phones until they are 18.

AM I Being too Harsh?
Thoughts Please.

In the light of what has happened in Perth yes you are 100% correct, Camera's on phones are both evil and good dependent on the person whom is holding the phone, and we all know that once an image or video is on the web its on there forever, its sad when people are using cameras for evil uses like this. you are 100% correct

Did you report the nature of that video to ... instagram ??? .... hopefully someone can take down that video???

To Be honest, NO I didnt. I was too shocked and scrolled past. I did not want to go back to the video and click into it to report it. The sad thing is once somethings uploaded once, you can never get rid of it.

True.....what is on the net once will always be there some where in cyberspace but good thinking maybe it can be blocked some how.
It is just another example for me why I stay very very far away from internet social media in my private live
