Who thinks Acca Dacca made a mistake getting axel as their lead ?

I'm a Gunners fan but far bigger Acca Dacca fan
And in the AC/DC debate I preferred Scott As the band were more consistent under him than Johnson Apart from that brilliant Back in black album

I would have preferred as some have said Angry Anderson fill Brian Johnson's spot than Axle Rose either that or maybe its just time to call it a day as sad as that would be

I think it would have been good to see them pull the pin
Hate for them to just become another band that can't just disband while they are still one of the world's better rock bands

Highway to hell is a rumor has it correct sung about Canning Highway between stock roads and fremantle...

AC/DC one band that up until recent times stayed out of the media, played gigs to massive crowds, put on wonderful shows, did what they did best, Just played Rock N Roll that transcended generations, like the Rolling Stones, its funny how in say 20 years will all these modern day groups and singers be able to say the same?

The good thing about AC/DC was they didn't sing too many songs with swearing in them even tough they were a heavy rock band..... Unlike the Rap today....

Bon Scott's grave in freo is Australia's most visited grave site that speaks volumes and every time a US Navy ship comes into port quite a few sailors visit the grave to put flowers and other items near the grave I think it is listed as a national treasure ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremantle_Cemetery

But like all good things it must come to an end. By far The best Musical export from Australia.

Bon was the best, Axl just shouldn't be involved, latest news says he's pulled out, Im hoping.

The only person i could consider for the job is Dave Evans, first AC/DC singer,
other than that retiring AC/DC is the bet option, one original guitarist is not enough for a band.

There was talk of Dave Gleeson having a go too

Gleeson what a joke.... Really... No one can replace bon and brian, Bons songs are truly unique, so are Brian's, The screaming jets yep just a aussie local band.......

Neither Bon or Brian are replaceable as such. As frontmen they are unique. Bon actually encountered Brian briefly when he sang with Geordie and said, "If anything ever happens to me, that's the guy you need".

Trends on facebook show almost zero support for Axl Rose. There are several views, including the one that says the hearing loss may be the genuine article, but that Angus has used it to get rid of Brian as he is too old at 68. WTF? Angus apparently wants to go on and do a few more albums and keep touring.

They have to finish the tour. That's not negotiable. If they cancel the last ten dates, the concern that insures the multi-million dollar juggernaut will have to pay up and both they and the promotors will scream blue murder.

Angry Anderson was considered after Bon's death.....as was John Swan, Stevie Wright, Terry Slesser, Noddy Holder and god knows who else. But Malcolm didn't want a "sound-alike" or someone who was already a known quantity. Brian was just the ticket as he had already had a go in the music industry and came out broker than when he went in.

Axl Rose may have been a good vocalist back in the day, but his best days are behind him now. If they needed someone to finish the ten dates remaining on the tour, there are several good vocalists in tribute bands in Melbourne and Sydney who could do the job more than competently.

'trends on facebook" there is the issue... when Brain started out there was none of that facebook BS these days unless its trending no one cares, then when it does trend its only up there for a goldfish memory..... Facebook and Twitter are BS...

Angus young is nothing without a lead singer... Angus rode on Bon's and Brian's coat-tails for his whole career........... There are loads of older AC/DC fans that think when Bon died the band should of ended it there, and never continued, Brian sang great on Back in Black, and then on there was a few hits on an Album.......

I thought Axl Rose was a mistake, but after viewing a few live songs on YouTube, he is not a bad fit.

I do wonder about these bands that desperately continue with new lead singers, AC/DC and INXS are good examples.
Maybe it's like running a company or a footy team, if a CEO or director leaves, or a full forward leaves, you don't just pack up?

I remember Rainbow in the 70's and 80's If you put all the members who ever were a part of the band it would have been like a 20 pce band They had 3 singers I believe Dio , Graham Bonnet and another I cant recall

Yes!
One of Rainbow's singers was Joe Lynn Turner - mid eighties.
Great pipes

Also Deep Purple was the same, Richie Blackmore is to blame/credit for that.
He did have an ear for good singers, didn't he.

Black Sabbath has had several singers in their time.

And Rainbows peak and Sabbaths both involved Ronnie James Dio

We knew Blackmore was the boss and had full control I mean The band was called
Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow the first few albums

Dio is a legend, sadly missed.
I saw him with Sabbath in London around '92.

Love this

I saw Dio live with the Missus in Europe
He did a great version of the Purple song Mistreated
You see him on stage and wonder how how much vocal power came from this little man
