Thanks to computers and the internet, free porn of every description is available to everybody. People download it on their mobiles and children as young as 14 have porn downloads on their mobile phones to show their friends. However with the availability of porn does it help us to have a relationship or know how to have good sex? On the porn sites just a hand touching her leg has her moaning in excitement.

Well Blue I have a tendency to feel that sometimes the viewed porn creates an expectation for some. Children shouldnt have access to this sort of stuff, and I never would have even thought about it as a child. However, I was allowed to drink (wine with dinner) from a young age, and nudity was very open, I showered with my male cousin until we were 14, and he started dating my friend. Porn, what a big question this really is?

Like everything, I think an unbalanced approach to porn could definitely be detrimental to one's ability to engage in successful intimacy in a long term committed relationship.

If a person has had a steady diet of porn, say daily, since a very young age (even legal age) then their frame of reference for sex is about visual stimulation, and involves often unrealistic and unachievable situations in real life. Some of the positions used are just plain uncomfortable and are used purely to enhance viewing angles.

Adding to the lack of intimacy thing is that porn is usually viewed through the impersonal medium of a television screen or computer monitor, or even worse a tiny little telephone display. All of this reduces the act of sex to merely a two dimensional event.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not against porn, I just believe that it could be a problem for some individuals if they lose their perspective, or if they never had another perspective before they started viewing porn. Powerful imagery played over and over again does affect psychology.

I agree BlackDagger Au, That like a lot of good things in life they can be harmful if not used as directed. Some spend thousands on their hobbies or drink and eat far too much. I know it is up to every individual who is an adult to decide when enough is enough. Every person have their ideas what love or sex should be like. It is up to us, their partner to try to make their dreams come true.

Yeah nicely said TemtMe, Though i wonder how many guys on here would actually come out and tell the truth about the youngest girl they have had consented sex with.
I will mention one back in the early 80's when me and my mate where sitting in the car after the pub eating some hot chips when this young girl walked over to the car and asked us what we were doing.
