It's funny, I grew up watching tennis religiously, especially Wimbledon. Pat Cash defeating Ivan Lendal was a huge deal when I was a younging.

But nowadays if I can just catch a match or two from the quarter finals or semi's onwards, I count that as being fortunate.
Sadly, other than the biggest names, I don't really even know who's who any more, whereas I used to be able to recite the top ten men's and women's at one time.

I always liked the temperamental players, Maconroe, Ivanivanich, Saffin, etc... They could defeat anyone on the day or show up and have a fit, smash a racket or two, swear and carry on, then bomb out terribly, lol

TV doesn't come close to giving the full effect of just how fast those balls move.

Who else cant stand the screaming/cheating of a large number of the female tennis players of today ?

I know one young lady on here who will take Umbrage at this statement
