It's my opinion that Perth's proliferation of AMPs is pretty much driven by Chinese / Hong Kong resident immigrants who have set up private business, with staff availability fuelled mostly by so many resident Chinese students looking to pay their way to staying in Australia for as long as they can ... and, from some of the conversations I've had over the past few years, one of the main attractions to living here is that the girls face less competition in life choices than faced by the multitudes back in their homeland.
I'd suggest that the girls who work at AMPs are pretty much the urban interpretation of the girls who take up seasonal rural work picking fruit ... in fact, I've met some Chinese girls who dabble in both lines of work.
In the past fifteen years, I've only encountered two European girls working at AMPs, but never have I encountered a typical Aussie girl ... and, whilst you will find other Asian ladies out there, the likes of Korean, Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Indonesian, I can't say that a lack of Mandarin or Cantonese language skills precludes a girl from working at an AMP.
So, I'm assuming for the most part that Aussie girls don't even consider enquiring about working in the AMP industry ... but obviously, as evidenced at this forum, some Aussie girls will consider working at a brothel ...

I agree - since the proliferation of AMP's setting up shop there are only a few Aussies working in a massage parlour such as Body Heat. Interesting perspective, definitely an example of YMMV perhaps.
While none currently, Tina‘s shop in Yokine has had a regular stream of Caucasian (non Asian) girls, many more than the two you have encountered. And that is just one (two if you include her Inglewood shop that shares the similar girls on roster)AMP. TBC has also has a number, including the infamous Lola. Comfort as well. Mimosa when run by Kim in Lathlain had about 2or 3 at one stage.
Those I have encountered include French, Spanish, German, Aussie, Colombian, Brazillian, English, American, South African, kiwi, and Italian with varying level of extras from HJ to A-level. Many of these have been Aussie citizen rather than on visas. Two Colombian sisters even proudly showed me their citizenships after getting it one Aussie day.

I guess it pays to shop around ... unlike 'MikeB', I've not ventured north of the river very often, and have never experienced Tina's or Comfort ... similarly, I hadn't ever dropped by Mimosa when that was operating in Lathlain.
Interestingly, 'kendo' has just referenced (two posts above) a Locanto listing for Tina's ... and this is what the ad has to say about their girls and the countries from which they originate :

Yep, There are no Aussies at either shop and the old Mimosa also has no Aussies now. But some of these girls do not disappoint.....
