I like to see more stories about experiences in China. I was in China last year and visited Beijing & Chengdu; I found the cities amazing, modern, and so clean. It was my first visit for 12 years, and the changes were remarkable.

I would recommend all young people take time out to visit China; history is amazing, and the people are amazing.
I was there late last year mostly in Southern China. I have been there multiple times in the North and South and this last time felt weird. Not the same vibe at all. Not hostile but not chilled either. Times are tough there now for younger people. Very high youth unemployment and a tanking economy. Soon to get worse thanks to the tangerine man. With escalating tension between the Trump administration and Xi I would think twice about visiting. Things can change in an instant if Xi decides.

I agree more people should visit China and experience it for yourself. I have visited China nearly a dozen times as a tourist. The scenery is spectacular, the people are so friendly and the cities are so modern. It is a country so rich in culture and history. The transport system, especially the train network is the best in the world. The fastest train in the world is in China.

Some of the attractions you mustn't miss are: The Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace, the Three Gorges when you travel along the mighty Yangtze River, the Terracotta sculptures at the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, Shangrila and many more. No wonder more than 90 percent of the Chinese are happy living in China according to a survey done by Harvard University. So my advice to all those wanting to visit China for the first time is to get rid of all the China bashing information and propaganda you have read and stored in your brain.

I haven't been to China.
There are other places I'd like to visit first.

I find this content maker interesting to watch sometimes....
