A question to punters or advice from W/L

As many of you know I am a private W/L pretty new on the scene. Most contact between myself and clients is via email and secondly through txt or calls. I was expecting to get the odd "wanker" for lack of a better name, but finding more and more now. I am a people person and enjoy my work and interacting, but am getting frustrated with how some guys seem to think I run a free phone sex service!

So my question is...Would you be put off or offended if in my standard email I included:

"Also note I do not run a free phone sex service, so please keep all phone contact relevant to your appointment or enquiries as I do not have time to satisfy this demand and do not wish to be rude."

If you don't feel it is appropriate could you tell me how I can polietly let them know this behaviour isn't accepted...be it via my original email or during one of the many calls I get.

Your advice is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Just read your situation. Just an opinion as I am sure you will make the right choice. Say it as it is. I beat around the bush sometimes trying to not hurt peoples feelings in particular woman. But us men, we need to be set straight and like I always say to my mates. State your needs in a direct but respectful manner and no one gets offended. If they do its their proplem. You offer a service limited to a particular area and that excludes people oversteping the mark. I would rather be with you than on the phone anyday,as you said its a waste of precious time and body bonding

I think you have nailed it with your wording "Also note I do not run a free phone sex service, so please keep all phone contact relevant to your appointment or enquiries as I do not have time to satisfy this demand and do not wish to be rude." its informative and firm not agressive or passive agressive in any way and instructional not misguided at all.

If particular potential clientel keep up this behaviour it might do you more harm to keep in contact with them and possibly best to just ignore them or it will keep doing your head in and get more frustrating. As for new clients calling, you can cut them off and ask if they read your little disclaimer in your email or online profile advert/website if you have one and if they answer no politely direct them to it.

As a private worker we lose the advantages we would have working in house or with an escort or booking agency. As a sole operating sex worker we have to be our own marketer and advertiser, cleaner/laundrette, receptionist etc and sifting through txt messages, voicemail, calls, emails, PMs on forums like this, instant messenging messages or skype can be time consuming and sometimes frustrating to say the least, however, and as you will find over time these become small misgivings if you enjoy the autonomy, empowerment and benefits of working for yourself and 'calling the shots' so to speak. In saying this though I do realise, for many different reasons, some workers choose and prefer to work with an agency or a parlour etc and that is but one of the beauties of working in this industry is the plethora of choices we have.

Hang in there Kitty, we get what we give out and all that and I'm sure you would agree when I say that the 'wankers' you are encountering are not the b all end all of our clientele and that when you have a really nice client or build up a rapport with a regular then it all becomes worthwhile. Just remind yourself of all the idiots you sometimes have to deal with in order to find the real gem clients. All worthwhile
