A big thanks to Mary-Anne a true WLs advocate

Again, as I sit here reading through all these archives, my respect for Mary-Anne grows. As far back as I can see, Mary-Anne has stepped up to the plate, publicly, defending, striving and litigating for all sex workers and agencies. Showing a non biased approach she hasn't just spoken for herself or the companies she has run, but all agencies and all working girls, and has put her face and her name (which so many others shy away from, why? the shame? Mary-Anne does not see it as shameful, therefore she is a true WL's advocate) on the line over and over and over again trying to make things easier and more fair for the ladies and gentlemen who work in and use the sex industry. In my personal opinion that seriously takes some balls.
She is definitely no dumb-ass and has fought long and hard for fairness and equality, in what is one of the oldest and first ever professions.
All I can say is WOW, what a woman. You seriously deserve an award.

Well said -
Totally agree with you...
I met Maryanne seems almost 20 years ago now,
& she was vocal then when no one was willing to go the extra mile....
Now it seems that the industry has become more mainstream,
Maryanne even has the politicians on her side....

Yes, Maryanne certainly is a great business woman. I certainly have deep admiration for the business she built.
Though I wonder, when she was working as an Escort. Did she use her real name?
Tania is that your real name?

Yes she is an awesome business woman.

I'm not sure if she used a pyseudonym when she worked, but I have no doubt that she will view this thread and perhaps answer that question herself. If not I will ask her myself.

Yes Tania is my real name, I work in administration as Mary-Anne's PA, therefore total anonaminity is not required for me.
