A Night Out With Sally ( @Mrs Langtrees Sister)
So every now and then we would be taken out for "Promo".
Sally had come to Kal for a couple of weeks (I think it was when Leigh went to Singapore to get married) to make sure we all behaved and to run the place for Mary-Anne.

There was a huge event on in Kal and there were lots of people in town.

This night Sally told us she was taking us out to Sylvester's Nightclub to do some socialising "Promo".

And OMG! what a night it was. Sally was shouting us all drinks and we were all very tipsy and merry,,,,,but,,,, then it came time to leave.
"Not Happening Jan!!"
Jo, 3 other girls and I took off upstairs to Harry's and Sally was trying to round up who she could to get back to 181's.
Needless to say we partied hard and did not end up back at work that night.
That night was my introduction to Squashed Frog shooters. Yum.
To cut a long story short we had a blast and I was dropped back at work around 6am on the back of a bike and had literally only just stopped drinking.
Needless to say I got another fine, this time for $200. As did the other girls. I recall this money was used to buy new stools to sit at the doors on.
"Promo" paid off though. The guy who dropped me back came back at 7.30 am and booked me for 4 hours. Half of that time we spent in the spa (thank goodness as I was a bit queasy by then). I was also busier than normal for the next month. Averaging more than the usual 15 to 25 bookings a day.
Interesting how most of my Kal stories end up with me being fined,,,,oops
