As and old guy I remember the time when we didn't get any choice. It was either full bush or nothing. That didn't stop us as with 4" inch lift, 35" tyres and front and rear lockers on an early Patrol we kept our ladies happy. The downside was picking the pubes out of our teeth for a couple of hours afterwards.
Years ago even the girls didn't know what was down there as the vegetation was so intense. Couple that with the attitude of the time that girls should be ladies and not touch themselves or show their partners and you have an example of the sexual repression of the time. Girls were really scared that they would get pregnant and lived in fear. Just talking about it made their legs clamp shut together. It wasn't unusual for couple to wait until their wedding night to actually do it for the first time. Getting married was the only sure thing that could make having sex acceptable and respectable. Hence the reason why people got married at a much younger age.
Ladies are much more conscious of what happens down there these days. A full wax or landing strip is the preferred option and mine too apart from natural redheads. A natural redhead should always be trimmed and anything otherwise should be against the law.
Am I getting nostalgic about the old days? You bet I'm not it was really bad. Maybe that's why there are so many punters of my generation (and that includes Sir Cruiser) who are trying to relive our youth with the aid of Viagra and/or a trusty steed between our legs.

I'm not picky. If a lady is willing to show me her lady bits I'm more than happy to oblige. However.....if I'm going hunting down under...I prefer the low shrub lands or the desert. Been down the amazon before and was not comfortable with the vegetation.
